The Wheel Bench has ample room for six people to be seated within.
They say some of the best things in life are the simplest, you would certainly think that when you look at our new Wheel Bench. This new design was achieved over the winter of 2013 when you would normally be resting from a hard summer of selling garden buildings. Not us, we decided to dissect our garden pods to see what else could be achieved from there unique design.
By mounting two pressure treated laminated timber circles opposite each other we have created a cylinder. An 800mm x 1200mm table was then fixed into the centre of the cylinder with two wooden seating sections either side. This leaves you with ample room for six people to be seated within. We have assembled this cylinder Wheel Bench using our signature parts of stainless steel, polycarbonate and timber.
An option of side detachable cover sheets are available as well as a winter cover though non of these are essential for keeping it outdoors. Freedom to adapt
By placing two or more wheel bench’s inline and adding a roof between each unit, we can create a multitude of different sized seating areas. This would be ideal for bars, restaurants and picnic areas and would offer many different ways to use the Wheel Bench in any outdoor area. Extend Your Outdoor Seating and Extend Your Outdoor Season
This unique shaped bench offers you plenty of shade and shelter. It is ideally designed to be placed against a wall, fence or as a stand alone picnic bench. This means that this specially shaped seat can fit into many different alcoves of space in your garden when the available space in your garden might be a crucial factor.
All the parts of the Wheel Bench are manufactured from materials ideally suited to the outdoors. For extra comfort we supply seat pads in 3 different colours, charcoal, green and burgundy.
An area of 220cm by 135cm is required for the Wheel Bench to be installed. A hard standing base of no less than 140cm2 is preferred to build your bench onto. The Wheel Bench should be installed onto an area of flat level ground.
If you are preparing a new concrete or paving area for your lounger, we recommend an overall depth of 30cm allowing 7 days for the ground to settle prior to the arrival of our fitting team.
