Paving Slab Base

Our base work services are subject to the following conditions: 

1. The area must be clear of any tree stumps, plants, bushes or garden waste.

2. The area must be level – no more than a 50mm slope across the area.

3. The area must have a minimum access width of 800mm

4. Bases are laid above ground level as standard. If you require the base to be level with the ground surface the area can be excavated – Scott Timber Buildings can carry out this service at an additional cost, but this needs to be agreed before works commence.

5. Failure to comply with the above conditions will result in an £150.00 return to site fee and further charges may apply if additional groundwork services are required.

6. Please select the same size as your building you are ordering. Moisture that remains stagnant can create an ideal environment for rot and decay, compromising the integrity of the timber over time. When moisture seeps into the timber, it can affect the stability of the entire structure. By choosing a base that matches the building's dimensions, you help mitigate these risks, ensuring a solid foundation that supports the longevity and safety of your building.
